With Christmas right around the corner, it's not a surprise to hear holiday music pumping throughout all venues, but it comes as a surprise that one X-mas tune may find it's way into the courtroom.The popular holiday song "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" is now at the center of a lawsuit over a breach of contract. The original songwriter, Elmo Shropshire, may be forced to pay as much as $2 million in damages for his actions which interfered in a merchandising deal for the plaintiff, The Fred Rappoport Co.
