Scottish rock group Franz Ferdinand has announced their plan to go on hiatus after this year's festival season.singer Alex Kapranos:
Fans should not get worried about any possible break-up, because the group intends to work on more material in the near future."We have been on the road or in the studio continuously for three years and I think everyone needs to spend some time with their wives or their girlfriends and live a bit of ordinary life again."
"Doing that recharges your batteries and gives you new material to write from, if nothing else."
