Boys can like these Dolls

The Dresden Dolls are set to release their new album on April 18, courtesy of Roadrunner Records. The Cabaret/Punk Revival duo has been hard at work to release the follow-up to their 2004 eponymous debut. The album, entitled Yes, Virginia, will contain 13 new tracks and artwork from fan submissions.

In an interview with Spin magazine, Dresden Dolls Singer/Pianist Amanda Palmer comments on Yes, Virginia:

“I wanted to showcase all the sides of the band. We can play a jazz tune and a hard-rock tune and a torch tune, and they all sound like us.”

Expectations of the album are high, so it will be interesting to see if the masses catch Dresden fever this year.
