Test Icicles To Split

It's already over before it really began. The up-and-coming Test Icicles have called it quits so soon after producing For Screening Purposes Only. The news came after the group cancelled their London concert as the opening-slot for Nine Black Alps.

"The band have just come off a European tour and are exhausted from the constant pressures of touring, subsequently they have cancelled their show at the NME Awards and US tour. The band will play their UK tour in April. Details of a final single to be taken from the album to announced. There are currently no plans to make another album or tour beyond this."

As a result, plans for a U.S. tour have been cancelled. However, the Test Icicles are being decent enough to finish part of what they started by playing their UK tour in April.

April 2006 tour:
18 - Glasgow Garage
19 - Sunderland Manor Quay
20 - Manchester Academy 2
21 - Coventry Coliseum
22 - London Astoria
